Stellar Pizza, a company founded by former SpaceX engineers, will launch a robotic pizza-making machine in Los Angeles in 2025, as reported by MENAFN.

The machine has been designed to produce a pizza every 45 seconds.

Established in 2019, Stellar Pizza employs 23 individuals who previously worked at Elon Musk's SpaceX.

Stellar Pizza founders Benson Tsai, Brian Langone and James Wahawisan used their engineering expertise to create an automated, touchless pizza-making system.

Stellar Pizza CEO Benson Tsai gathered a team of former colleagues to develop the technology, which is designed to fit into the back of a truck.

The robotic machine can make, bake and top a pizza in under five minutes.

Its menu includes options such as pepperoni or supreme pizza. Customers can customise with fresh toppings such as onions, bacon, chicken and olives.

In October 2022, Stellar Pizza secured $16.5m in a Series A funding round led by Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners (MVP).

Stellar Pizza become a part of the MVP portfolio, which also features Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty clothing line.

The company previously raised a total of $9m from Root Ventures, Collaborative Fund and Crosslink Capital.

Stellar aims to build a fleet of robot pizza trucks and create a national brand. According to Stellar, the robot truck could significantly lower real estate and labour costs.
