The Stonegate Group is reopening The Brasshouse pub in Birmingham, UK, on 29 February 2024, following a £304,000 refurbishment.

The investment has resulted in improved amenities and an increased canal-side seating capacity.

The six-figure investment has also transformed the layout of both the back and front bar, including a dedicated cocktail section.

The Brasshouse also now features an extended and diverse range of cask and craft beers.

General manager Chris Mason said: “The last investment into the site took place over ten years ago, so it is really exciting to have the space revamped.

“As well as the internal and external makeover, 15 new front-of-house positions have been created and the future is looking really bright for The Brasshouse.

“We want to make our pub the ultimate place on Broad Street to have a pint, a glass of wine or a cocktail, whether you’re an office worker, weekend visitor or party-goer.

“The team is passionate about creating the best experiences for our customers and we are looking forward to welcoming our community back to The Brasshouse.”

Stonegate has also confirmed the reopening of The Kilburn Bridge, a community pub that has undergone a similar six-figure investment from Craft Union Pub Company.

Scheduled to reopen on the same day as The Brasshouse, the Kilburn Bridge has been completely refurbished with a modern interior, new HD TVs and leisure facilities including a new pool table and darts board.

Earlier this month, Stonegate also announced that it will reopen The Lobster pub in Sheringham on 27 February 2024, following a comprehensive £465,000 refurbishment.
