British pub company Stonegate Group is set to re-open the Plough pub in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on 15 March 2024, following a significant refurbishment.
The pub has been overhauled with a six-figure investment from Craft Union and now features a new colour scheme, carpets and a refreshed bar area.
The renovation has introduced a new range of beers to the bar, featuring brands such as Birra Moretti, Amstel, Peroni, Wingman and Cruzcampo.
In addition to the aesthetic improvements, the pub has been fitted with ten new HD television sets.
The venue has added a new dartboard and retained its pool table.
To mark the occasion, The Plough will host an Irish-themed launch party from 15 to 17 March 2024.
The Plough operator Ellie Easby said: “I’m delighted to have the pleasure of re-opening this new-look pub. The refresh has really uplifted the space throughout, and I’m excited for our locals to come back to experience the upcoming entertainment and sports with us.
“As a real centre point on the High Street, it’ll be great to get the community back together here to enjoy the Plough in its new form!”
Earlier this month, Stonegate Group reopened the Lord Nelson pub in Doncaster, UK, following a six-figure investment from Craft Union.
It received a comprehensive makeover featuring a new colour scheme, plush carpets, additional fixed seating and a renovated bar area with an expanded drinks menu.
The pub, which has been significantly refurbished, offered patrons an enhanced experience with a new look and expanded facilities.
