The Stonegate Group is set to re-open the William Morgan pub in Prestatyn, Wales, following a comprehensive refurbishment.
The venue, which received a six-figure investment, is set to welcome guests back on 21 February, 2024, with a new look and improved amenities.
The renovation of the William Morgan included a complete overhaul of the interior.
It now offers TVs to enhance the live sports viewing experience, just in time for the upcoming summer sporting events.
The outdoor area has also seen improvements, with new fixed seating added to the front and an updated beer garden at the rear which is described as a "little sun trap".
The William Morgan will also introduce new initiatives and menu items.
The pub has a storied history dating back to the late 1800s. Named after the renowned Bishop William Morgan of St Asaph, the building has undergone several transformations.
The William Morgan general manager Zoe Platt said, “Taking this site through an investment has always been a huge personal goal of mine. It’s taken a long time to build the right team, drive our standards and make sure we execute consistently at a high level, and in the last 12 months we’ve finally cracked it.
“We come highly recommended through all of our feedback and regularly get awarded a Travellers Choice Award on TripAdvisor.
“As a team we’re also really passionate about trying to give back and have done lots over the years to raise money for charities, both local and national, and have raised more than £1000 for various charities in the last year.”
