UK-based Stonegate Group has reopened the Lord Nelson pub in Doncaster, UK following a six-figure investment from Craft Union.
The pub, which has been significantly refurbished, will offer patrons an enhanced experience with a new look and expanded facilities.
It has received a comprehensive makeover featuring a new colour scheme, plush carpets, additional fixed seating and a renovated bar area with an expanded drinks menu.
The renovation includes the installation of a brand-new dartboard and the maintenance of the existing pool table.
The pub's management is also looking to form a darts team, further integrating into the local community's social fabric.
The Lord Nelson now features high-definition televisions to enhance the viewing experience for sports fans.
A grand launch weekend is scheduled to celebrate the re-opening, with events planned for 8, 9 and 10 March 2024.
The Lord Nelson operator Jack Rees said: “It’s so exciting to be part of this community pub which is looking fantastic following the refurbishment.
“I can’t wait to welcome guests, locals and visitors alike, to the venue for our new entertainment schedule, social evenings and sports events.
“It is a great, much-loved local venue in the Doncaster community, and I’m delighted to be re-opening the pub with its new, refreshed look.”
Last month, the Stonegate Group reopened the Dutton Arms pub in Blackpool, following a £200,000 investment.
Located on Blackpool’s seafront, the overhauled pub included substantial upgrades to the interior, exterior and menu offerings.
The pub’s beverage menu was also updated to offer a large assortment of premium lagers, wines, spirits, craft beers and cocktails.
