British pub company Stonegate Group is set to re-open the Europa Inn in East Molesey, Surrey, after receiving a six-figure transformative investment from the Craft Union Pub Company.

Set to open on 21 February 2024, the overhauled pub will feature new seating, a modern colour scheme and upgraded facilities.

The community-focused pub now boasts a refreshed bar area, new high-definition TVs, a pool table and a darts board.

The exterior of the pub has also been revitalised, offering ample outdoor seating and the addition of two outdoor huts for guests.

East Molesey local Pankaj will run the Europa Inn with his partner Ella.

Both have extensive expertise managing multiple bars across London and hosting large events, with a particular emphasis on catering to sports fans - especially followers of football, cricket and rugby.

Pankaj said: “I’m so excited to welcome guests back to the new-look pub. It’s completely transformed throughout, and our entertainment schedule is going to bring so much fun to the community. We can’t wait to see you soon!”

In February 2024, Stonegate also re-opened the Gate pub in Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk, England, following a £200,000 refurbishment by the Craft Union Pub Company.

The investment was used to upgrade the interior and exterior of the 19th-century establishment operated by Darron and Shane.

The overhauled pub near Caister-on-Sea Beach now offers new entertainment options to its patrons, including a dartboard and a pool table.

In addition to the entertainment upgrades, the pub has also launched an extensive new drinks menu.
