Stoner's Pizza Joint has signed a multi-unit agreement with AHMorris Holdings to open three new restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina, US, over the next two years.
The deal was signed with Hunter Morris, a franchisee that operates five stores in Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina.
Morris said: “We believe the timing is right to grow our footprint into the Charlotte market. We have seen tremendous performance over the past year in our existing stores and believe the growth of the overall Stoner's brand makes this an easy decision.”
Morris is said to have already signed a lease agreement and plans to open the first restaurant in the Queens City Quarter in the third quarter of 2023.
Stoner's Pizza Joint Principal and CEO John Stetson said: “With strong franchisees who believe in the brand mission, we've been able to grow Stoner's from a local pizza joint to six states in the past two years.
“We continue to invest in the resources necessary to support our franchisees and accelerate our growth strategy into 2024.”
The restaurant brand has set a target to open 100 units by the end of 2025 and is seeking new multi-unit operators throughout the US.
In April this year, Stoner’s Pizza Joint opened its new restaurant in Palatka, Florida.
Located at 314 FL-19 Palatka, the new restaurant is Stoner’s tenth location in Florida and its 31st location across the US.
