Subway has further expanded its menu offerings by launching Sidekicks, a new collection of three foot-long snacks.

The new snacks line will be available at Subway restaurants across the US from 22 January 2024.

The launch expands Subway's menu offerings beyond its signature sandwiches to introduce a new range of treats.

The culinary team of Subway collaborated with Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's to create the Sidekicks line.

Focus Brands International and Retail Channels president Dave Mikita said: “We're excited to team up with Subway to bring guests the fun and flavour of two of our iconic brands - Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's. These fan-favorite snacks will delight guests in new, craveable ways.”

Subway’s new menu includes the Cinnabon Footlong Churro that is topped with Cinnabon's signature Makara cinnamon and sugar.

Another highlight is Auntie Anne's Footlong Pretzel, which is served with a side of Subway's Honey Mustard for dipping.

Completing the trio is the Footlong Cookie, which is making a comeback after a successful limited-time appearance on National Cookie Day in 2022 and 2023.

Subway North America president Douglas Fry said: “The introduction of Sidekicks builds on six decades of equity and expertise in all things foot-long.

“This whole new category on our menu offers Subway fans something they can't get anywhere else and kicks off a year of culinary innovation and delicious new menu items. 2024 may be the most exciting chapter yet in our growth story.”

Earlier this month, Subway Canada launched new Caribbean-inspired menu items: the Jerk-Spiced Chicken Rice Bowl and the Jerk-Spiced Steak Rice Bowl.

The new dishes were created in partnership with basketball team Toronto Raptors’ players Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher.
