Quick service restaurant chain Subway has teamed up with global payment orchestration platform FreedomPay to boost payment efficiency and guest experience across its restaurant network.
The partnership leverages FreedomPay's unified end-to-end payment orchestration platform to streamline operations and modernise the payment system within Subway's quick service restaurant brand.
The collaboration is set to unify and enhance Subway's payment processes, supporting transactions in-restaurant, via mobile and online on a single platform.
This integration aims to create a secure experience for guests, while also providing consistent reporting for franchisees.
FreedomPay's data-driven commerce platform will not only simplify operations but also provide actionable insights to drive Subway's future growth.

Subway serves freshly made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads and bowls across more than 100 countries and territories in 37,000 restaurants each day.
Subway restaurants are owned and operated by Subway franchisees.
In January 2025, Subway partnered with the OREO brand to introduce a new menu item – the OREO Footlong Cookie.
