US-based Sullivan’s Steakhouse has announced the opening of its first restaurant in Michigan, in the city of Detroit.
Located at 1128 Washington Boulevard, the 9,300ft² restaurant space is within the newly transformed Westin Book Cadillac Detroit.
Featuring the main patio and private dining areas, the new restaurant venue will have the capacity to accommodate more than 285 guests.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse is a part of the Dividend Restaurant Group and offers bone-in and hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood and signature cocktails.
The new restaurant’s menu offerings include appetizers such as Cheesesteak Eggrolls and an array of decadent cuts of steak, including an A5 Wagyu Strip, the rarest beef.
Its indoor bar will serve signature cocktails such as the Knockout Martini inspired by the steakhouse’s namesake, boxer John Sullivan.
The Michigan restaurant is the brand’s 15th location in the US. It will feature live, local jazz music.
Dividend Restaurant Group president and CEO Nishant Machado said: “Detroit is such a unique city with rich traditions and a storied history. It cannot be matched and we are excited to be a part of this community.
“When it came time to decide on where to open our newest Sullivan’s Steakhouse the choice was simple. We look forward to serving up our world-class dining experience to the fine people of the Motor City for years to come.”
In April 2022, Sullivan’s opened a new restaurant in Little Rock, Arkansas.
