Surcheros Fresh Mex, a US-based restaurant chain, is set to open its new location in Athens, Georgia on 12 March 2024.

The new location will be the company’s second in the city and 27th in the state.

Situated at The Markets at Epps Bridge Shopping Center, the 3,195ft² restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a salsa bar and a customisable ordering line to enhance the dining experience.

The first 100 customers who make a purchase using the Surcheros app will be rewarded with free meals for a year.

The menu at the new outlet will include a variety of Mexican dishes such as tacos, grilled burritos, quesadillas, salads and burritos with a choice of meats or vegetables.

The restaurant will offer more than 25 toppings and signature sauces to complement the dishes.

Catering to all age groups, the restaurant will have a special Lil’ Ones menu for children.

In November 2023, American restaurant chain Zaxby’s announced the opening of its third location in Hampton, Georgia.  

The outlet was opened in January 2024. Located at 2460 Jonesboro Road, it will offer drive-through and dine-in options and is owned and operated by Coup Management.
