US-based quick service restaurant (QSR) concept Surfin’ Chicken is set to open its first location in Yuma, Arizona, on 9 September 2023.

The new venue will offer guests a wide array of menu items, including chicken sandwiches, fresh hand-cut fries, loaded fries, house-made dipping sauces and speciality milkshakes.

The restaurant brand claims that its Yuma location is committed to serving its guests value-priced alternatives to typical fast-food chicken.

Surfin’ Chickens Arizona market developer Alex Trujillo said: “We are very pleased to be able to offer the Surfin’ Chicken experience to the Yuma community. Our focus is on delivering high quality, great tasting food at a great price.”

Over the coming months, Surfin’ Chickens plans to expand the brand's footprint further by opening additional locations throughout Yuma.

As part of the store opening celebrations, the restaurant will offer guests free fries and special offerings during the event.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal, Surfin' Chicken opened its first restaurant venue in Sparks, Nevada, in March this year.

The Sparks Surfin' Chicken location will be owned and operated by Bains Restaurant Group. It will be led by Saranjeet Bains, a Sparks region native.

The news agency quoted Bains as saying: “I was born and raised in Sparks, so opening up a restaurant here has sentimental value. I wanted to provide an enjoyable dining experience to a community that has given so much to me.”
