US-based restaurant brand Sweetgreen has announced the re-launch of its Peach + Goat Cheese salad for the summer season.

The salad is made using locally sourced peaches paired with fresh mint and tangy goat cheese.

The new salad is available to order from 13 June 2023.

The re-launch also coincides with Peach Week, a week-long celebration of the seasonal fruit.

From 20 June to 23 June 2023, sweetgreen customers will see a variety of peach-inspired collaborations and events that aim to capture the spirit of summer.

sweetgreen co-founder and chief brand officer Nathaniel Ru said: “Brand moments like Peach Week allow us to engage with our customers around the power of seasonality.

“Peach + Goat Cheese is one of our customers' all-time favourite seasonal bowls and we’re thrilled to use it as a platform for storytelling, collaboration and community experiences.”

sweetgreen noted that it will also add other items to its early summer menu, including the BBQ Chicken, which will feature Honey BBQ Sauce, made in partnership with Chef Charlie McKenna, and sweetgreen's own green goddess ranch dressing.

The salad restaurant chain noted that it has also introduced the Chicken Teriyaki, which features blackened chicken, warm wild rice, sesame teriyaki dressing and a mix of either roasted okra and sweet onions or roasted zucchini and yellow squash.

Its offerings also include the Mediterranean Mezze, the Pesto Paradise and some seasonal beverages that will be launched in partnership with the non-alcoholic beverage brand Ghia.
