Canada-based casual dining restaurant chain Swiss Chalet, part of Recipe Unlimited, has unveiled plans to open new restaurants across Burlington, Newmarket, Don Mills, Brampton and Calgary in 2023.
The restaurant will also announce new locations later this year.
Recipe Unlimited Real Estate chief development officer Mark Eaton said: “We are in growth mode and on the lookout for different locations in communities we believe Swiss Chalet can really thrive in.”
The locations announced will feature a new look and feel and will test the new takeout ordering kiosks and a Chalet valet prepaid pickup lane at select locations.
Swiss Chalet noted that its new takeout ordering kiosks will allow the guests to avoid waiting and place their orders online for collection from the pickup shelf.
The restaurant brand will also upgrade its existing locations with a new design that includes comfortable dining rooms and the ‘Chalet Valet’ prepaid pickup lane at certain locations.
Recipe Unlimited chief operating officer Franco Tascione said: “We are always thrilled to bring Swiss Chalet to new communities and welcome new guests into our dining rooms with our famous Chalet Hospitality.
“We will continue to evolve the way we serve our guests while still providing our Chalet favourites they know and love - Rotisserie Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Fresh-Cut Fries and Signature Chalet Dipping Sauce."
Swiss Chalet was established in 1954 and operates more than 200 locations across Canada.
