Taco Bell’s franchisee Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) has opened its renovated location in Kansas, US.
Located at 12014 Shawnee Mission Parkway, the revamped location features new communal seating.
To improve the ordering process, the company has installed two digital menu boards and mobile kiosks to fast-track mobile orders.
DRG Kansas City operations vice-president Kara Ramirez said: “We are thrilled to unveil the re-imagined Taco Bell experience at our newly renovated location.
“This vibrant space not only pays homage to the beloved flavours our customers know and love but also redefines the Taco Bell experience with a fresh and exciting twist. We look forward to welcoming the community this Friday.”
DRG announced that it would open its upgraded store in Overland Park, Kansas, in October 2023.
Located at 10107 W 75th Street, the company planned a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new overhauled Taco Bell restaurant.
DRG president and CEO SG Ellison said at the time: “The renovated Overland Park Taco Bell not only looks great but offers more convenience and better service for guests, no matter where or how they choose to dine.
“We look forward to welcoming the community to the new and improved location.”
In December 2023, Taco Bell announced that it is testing a new line of frozen coffees and shakes in the state of California for a limited time.
The two new beverages, Coffee Chillers and Churro Chillers, will be tested in two Californian cities as exclusive menu items from 15 December 2023.
Coffee Chillers will be available at the company store in Santa Margarita Parkway, Mission Viejo, while Churro Chillers will be available at the Barranca Parkway store in Irvine.
The restaurant brand will also be offering a Sweet Vanilla Churro Chiller that comes with a purple tint.
