Taco Bell’s franchisee Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is set to open a renovated location in Overland Park, Kansas.
Located at 10107 W 75th Street, the company has planned to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new overhauled Taco Bell restaurant on 30 October 2023.
Diversified Restaurant Group president and CEO SG Ellison said: “The renovated Overland Park Taco Bell not only looks great but offers more convenience and better service for guests, no matter where or how they choose to dine.
“We look forward to welcoming the community to the new and improved location.”
The refurbished restaurant will now feature communal seating, which is expected to enhance the guest's dining experience.
In addition to the seating, the two new digital boards are expected to improve the ordering process of mobile orders. It will also have an integrated menu board for guests who prefer to dine in.
The new digital boards and menu boards are expected to ease and expedite orders.
In August this year, Taco Bell announced that it is on track to operate 10,000 restaurants in the US in the coming years.
Under the growth strategy, the restaurant brand plans to reveal new concepts, introduce innovative solutions and create more digitally-enabled restaurants.
It plans to make use of an array of asset types, including Cantinas, which offers localised urban experiences, to a new iteration of Go Mobile, which will lead the industry in digital-forward restaurants.
