Fine dining Indian restaurant Taj Mahal has opened its doors in Republic Square in Livermore, California, US.

Named after the iconic monument Taj Mahal, the new restaurant was opened on 27 October 2023.

Inspired by the standards created by Maurya Sheraton, a five-star hotel in New Delhi, the new restaurant focuses on offering authentic and ‘delectable’ Indian cuisine, a five-star service, an attractive ambience and entertainment.

Taj Mahal owners Vikas Bajaj and Priya Bajaj said: “We wanted to create a space where patrons can truly experience India and the true fine dining experience, inspired by the top five-star hotel in New Delhi.

“Not just through the food, but through every element of the restaurant, Taj Mahal will elevate your different senses. From the decor inspired by Indian palaces to the traditional melodies playing in the background, we want our guests to feel the essence of India.”
