Estonian company Tallink Grupp has announced the opening of a new Burger King restaurant in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania.

The restaurant, which opened on 7 December 2023, is the second Burger King to open in Kaunas and is located at 10 Pramonės Street.

Spanning 320m², it can accommodate 80 guests.

The new Burger King offers its full menu, a dedicated children's menu and a variety of plant-based options.

Customers can dine in or opt for a drive-through service.

The location also features two charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot.

Burger King Baltics commercial manager Laura Maarand stated: “It is delightful to launch a brand new restaurant in Kaunas just in time for the holiday season, offering the residents and visitors of Kaunas alike the opportunity to enjoy our delicious burgers with a drive-through option.

“I am sure that the electric car owners will be also pleased about a new convenient option for a stopover where they can pleasantly combine the charging of their vehicles and a nice meal break.

“We hope that Burger King Pramones restaurant will receive the same warm welcome as our other six restaurants in Lithuania have had – everyone is very welcome!”

Tallink Grupp, which acquired the Burger King Baltics franchise in 2019, is a passenger and cargo transport services provider in the northern Baltic region.

In 2019, Burger King and Tallink Grupp also entered an agreement to open new locations in the Baltic states.

The first restaurants under this partnership were opened in 2020 and Tallink Grupp currently owns and operates a total of 21 across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Established in 1954, the fast food hamburger chain Burger King operates more than 18,800 locations in more than 100 countries and US territories.
