TGI Fridays has selected Oracle NetSuite to automate its financial processes, improve decision-making and expand revenue streams across its global chain of restaurants.

The restaurant company has chosen NetSuite as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

TGI Fridays accounting vice-president Jeff Moran said: “The restaurant industry is highly competitive. That's why we need real-time data on our business performance to respond to changing customer behaviours.

“With NetSuite, we have consolidated financial processes and embraced automation to improve the speed and accuracy of business insights as we grow – with product offerings and locations around the globe.”

In addition to automating financial processes, NetSuite has also helped TGI Fridays manage its global network of franchisees by offering support for local languages and currencies.

Oracle NetSuite customer success senior vice-president David Rodman said: “For almost 60 years, Fridays has grown its business to create a fun and social dining experience for its customers.

“With NetSuite, Fridays is able to simplify and automate its financial processes to support the growing complexity of its business model and increasingly diverse revenue streams.”

In May this year, TGI Fridays announced that it is implementing the Oracle CrowdTwist loyalty and engagement solution to transform its diner loyalty reward programme.

With this Oracle solution, the restaurant chain aims to improve customer engagement with new offers.

Oracle CrowdTwist solution will power TGI Fridays’ new, bigger, better Fridays Rewards programme.
