US-based restaurant company The Habit Burger Grill is set to open its new restaurant venue in Moreno Valley, California.

The restaurant brand, known for its Charburgers, sandwiches and fresh salads, will be opened on 10 November 2023.

Located at 24875 Iris Avenue, this will be Habit Burger Grill’s second drive-through restaurant location in the city.

The Habit Burger Grill Moreno Valley restaurant will cover an area of 2,800ft² and offer its guests dine-in, as well as takeout options.

Guests also have additional ordering options, including indoor self-serve kiosks.

The Habit Burger Grill franchisee Stan Singh said: “My family and I have been fans of The Habit Burger Grill for years and I am incredibly proud and excited to open another restaurant in Moreno Valley.

“We love The Habit’s unique and delicious menu featuring the famous Charburgers, amazing shakes, sushi grade ahi tuna, award-winning sides and more and can’t wait to feed more folks in this amazing city.”

It will also provide delivery services through The Habit Mobile App, through its website and through third-party delivery platforms such as GrubHub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.

To celebrate the new opening, the Habit Burger Grill will host exclusive pre-opening VIP events for its CharClub and mobile app members on 8 and 9 November.

The Habit Burger Grill CFO Tiffany Furman said: “We are especially thrilled when The Habit Burger Grill opens restaurants in Southern California, as that is our birthplace, and to celebrate a second location in MoVal? We couldn’t ask for more.”

Robots are well established in consumer goods and packaging industries, though adoption in foodservice is at a nascent stage

Current metaverse applications in the T&T sector either focus on digital marketing campaigns with real-world rewards for consumers, creating immersive experiences on-site for digitally savvy consumers through AR and VR metaverses, or improving operational efficiency through digital twin technology. As the metaverse evolves, it could offer virtual travel opportunities that complement traditional tourism. However, uptake of the metaverse by smaller travel and tourism operators will remain limited until use cases are affordable and provide a guaranteed return on investment.
