US-based restaurant company The Habit Burger Grill has expanded its presence in China by opening a new restaurant at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
For this new venue, the restaurant company partnered with airport dining company HMSHost International.
HMSHost International Asia Pacific regional managing director David Mackay said: "We are extremely pleased to be developing our first Habit Burger Grill restaurant in the APAC region.
"We have enjoyed the collaboration between HMSHost and the Habit Burger team as we look to redefine the food and beverage offerings at Chongqing International Airport.
"We look forward to boosting our presence in the region with the Habit Burger brand and giving travellers the ultimate HMSHost experience: attention."
Located at Terminal Three, the new Habit Burger Grill restaurant has the capacity to accommodate more than 100 guests.
The restaurant company anticipates that its new airport location would introduce the brand to a wider audience.
The Habit Burger Grill Asia Pacific general manager Yang Ming Ong said: "We look forward to serving the community handcrafted, chargrilled food with California-fresh quality and flavour.
"Chongqing is the second city for The Habit Burger Grill in China after Shanghai and we are actively seeking partners to build and develop in other major cities."
In January this year, Habit Burger Grill expanded its Cambodian footprint with its new restaurant location in Phnom Penh.
It was the company's seventh restaurant in Cambodia.
