UK-based pub company Stonegate Group has announced the re-opening of refurbished The Newmarket, Garforth community pub in West Yorkshire, UK.
The refurbishment was carried out with an investment of £158,000 ($193,508) from the Craft Union Pub Company, which is also a part of Stonegate Group and runs as an operator-led management format.
The Newmarket, Garforth operator Carol Maxfield said: “I can’t wait to welcome locals back to our fresh new-look pub. Community is at the heart of everything we do, so it’ll be great to get everyone back here for drinks and entertainment.
“The place feels completely uplifted both inside and out and is a great spot for locals to come and socialise.”
The updated pub now features a larger social space with two new dartboards and a pool table.
The garden area has also been renovated to feature a cosy space for socialising and al fresco dining.
The pub will now offer a wider range of drinks such as Madri premium lager, Moretti, craft lagers, staple wines, spirits and beers.
As part of the celebrations, the community hub will also hold a launch party from 29 September to 1 October 2023.
Last month, Stonegate Group opened The Railway pub in Lancing, West Sussex, after a renovation that saw a six-figure investment from Craft Union Pub Company.
This overhauled pub features an updated drinks menu with a range of beers and spirits.
