UK-based pub company Stonegate Group has announced that The Tudor Rose pub in Hemel Hempstead will re-open on 24 August 2023, after undergoing a refurbishment.
For this pub overhaul, Craft Union Pub Company, part of Stonegate Group, has made a six-figure investment.
With the completion of the upgrade, guests can expect a cosier and more inviting atmosphere at the pub, the company said.
As part of the overhaul, the pub’s front bar area has been carpeted and the seating has also been revamped providing a welcome uplift throughout the pub.
The pub also plans to introduce entertainment that will run across the entire week, where the guests have a whole host of activities to get involved in.
The Tudor Rose operator Mark McCartan said: “Working in pubs has always been a passion of mine, and it’s been amazing to see the transformation of the Tudor Rose. I’m really looking forward to seeing old and new customers alike seeing the new space and can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new-look pub!”
To mark the re-opening, the pub plans to host a grand launch weekend on 1, 2 and 3 September 2023.
McMartan added: “I hope to see as many local people getting involved in our brand-new schedule of entertainment as possible.
“As a neighbourhood pub, it’s great to see communities coming together and having fun with friends and family, and it’s an honour to be part of an establishment that brings people together, in a beautiful new space.”
Last week, Stonegate Group said that it is reopening the refurbished The Old City Arms pub in Hammersmith on 18 August 2023.
