Tim Hortons has unveiled a new seasonal menu of handcrafted beverages and baked goods for its guests in the US for the 2023 holiday season.

The holiday menu now includes a selection of hot and cold beverages in three different flavours, peppermint mocha, brown butter caramel and gingerbread oat milk latte, at participating restaurants in the US.

The rollout also includes holiday baked goods that can be paired with any holiday beverage.

Its baked goods line-up includes peppermint timbits, chocolate cake glazed timbits with a peppermint topping, a holiday tree doughnut, and a hot cocoa crumble muffin, which will be available for purchase from 15 November 2023.

Tim Hortons US product innovation lead Ian Thurston stated: “We're thrilled to be offering our guests our most delectable holiday menu lineup yet. We're bringing back our beloved peppermint mocha beverages, now with an enhanced peppermint flavour.

“And we're excited to introduce our guests to the indulgent sweet and salty combination of our brown butter caramel beverages and the bold taste of our gingerbread beverages paired with Chobani oat milk. There's truly something for everyone to enjoy all season long.”

Tim Hortons also announced plans to launch Baileys-flavoured non-alcoholic menu items across all its restaurants in Canada from 13 November 2023, adding that customers will soon be able to enjoy the non-alcoholic flavour of Baileys in select beverages and baked goods.

Customer engagement drives metaverse investment in the foodservice sector

COVID-19 and supply chain disruptions following the Ukraine war have accelerated automation and digitalization in the foodservice sector. Home delivery services and consumer engagement through digital channels have become essential for businesses trying to stay afloat. Foodservice companies must also cope with ESG issues, the fast-changing world of work, and the global economy heading for recession and possible stagflation. The metaverse, enabled by both AR and VR, is an important tool that can help address many of the foodservice industry's key challenges.
