Austrailia-based speciality coffee concept Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters has announced the launch of its first fully digitised and contactless coffee shop in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The contactless coffee shop is located on Mubarak Al Kabeer Street in the Sharq district of Kuwait City.
The location marks where Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters began its operations in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) in 2016.
Enabling flexible customisation, the contactless shop allows customers to choose their preferred coffee drink, add-ons and food items. These are then delivered through a dedicated window moments later.
Toby’s Estate’s newly launched mobile app provides the option to pre-order and pick up their order from the contactless shop or any nearby Toby’s Estate location.
It also enables customers to order through the virtual screen at the contactless shop.
The shop was redesigned to match the new service model, enabling customers to enjoy their coffee outdoors in the cooler months.
Under a franchise agreement, the new Toby's Estate is being operated by Kuwait-based Pinnacle Group.
Following the agreement, Pinnacle Group opened 12 Toby's Estate locations in Kuwait, adding to its two operational cloud kitchens and coffee truck.
It has also extended its operations to comprise two more shops in Dubai, one in Qatar and two in Saudi Arabia.

Founded by Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, Pinnacle Group aims to continue its focus on product quality, ethical sourcing and operational "finesse"- for the brand's growth.
