TouchBistro launches new solutions to improve profit margins of restaurants

The solution will integrate with TouchBistro’s all-in-one POS and restaurant management system.

TouchBistro has introduced a new suite of back-of-house (BOH) solutions to assist restaurants in controlling costs and increasing profit margins.

The newly launched solution will seamlessly integrate with TouchBistro’s all-in-one point-of-sale (POS) and restaurant management system.

The company claims that the integrated solution will allow restaurateurs to improve their profitability by automating operations and profit management analysis.

TouchBistro chairman and CEO Samir Zabaneh said: “After spending many years focused on enhancing our POS, FOH [front of house] operations and guest engagement solutions, we knew the timing was right to expand our BOH offerings so that restaurateurs have the key ingredients needed to drive their businesses forward.

“TouchBistro’s new BOH capabilities will help restaurateurs run more profitable operations. These tools give them the real-time visibility they require to control costs and streamline workflows.”

TouchBistro currently provides Kitchen Display System (KDS) and Profit Management to optimise and integrate BOH operations.

Powered by Fresh, TouchBistro KDS sends precise orders to the kitchen for immediate preparation.

Once the ticket is sent from POS, it appears on the KDS, providing an instant line of communication between FOH and BOH staff, removing the need for manual double entry and costly errors.

Powered by MarginEdge, TouchBistro Profit Management seamlessly integrates with the TouchBistro POS and restaurant management system, helping restaurants improve their profitability.

It gives restaurant owners greater control over inventory, supplier costs and invoices, menu and recipe planning, food wastage and accounting.

In November last year, TouchBistro raised C$150m ($109m) from global investment firm Francisco Partners to fast-track growth and pursue strategic acquisitions.

The company will use the capital to expand its product offerings to meet customer requirements.
