Tropical Smoothie Cafe has introduced two new items in its Tropic Bowl offerings with the Dragon Fruit Bowl and Acai Bowl with NUTELLA, in the US.   

These additions aim provide customers a “delightful reprieve from wintry weather” and transport them to “Tropic Time”.  

The Dragon Fruit Bowl is a “colourful option” with a dragon fruit base, topped with pineapple, mango, goji berries, coconut and chia seeds, and featuring a honey drizzle.  

The Acai Bowl with NUTELLA adds a twist to the cafe's “fan favourite” Acai Bowl by including strawberries, blueberries, banana, coconut, granola, chia seeds, with drizzles of honey and NUTELLA for a sweet finish.  

Guests can also enhance any of the bowl offerings with NUTELLA for a small additional charge.

Since the debut of its Tropic Bowl menu in January 2024, Tropical Smoothie Cafe claims to have seen a positive reception from guests.  

The initial lineup included Acai, Chia Oatmeal Pudding, and Mixed Berry Greek Yogurt bowls.  

In August 2024, the café added Bahama Mama Bowl and PB Protein Crunch Bowl to focus on providing options that are both flavourful and health-conscious customers.

In November 2024, Tropical Smoothie Cafe celebrated the opening of its 1,500th cafe in Cumming, Georgia.  

This new location is operated by franchisee Mike Haines, who has been with the company since 2015.
