The UK’s Stonegate Group has re-opened the overhauled Yates, Romford pub under the new ownership of the Craft Union Pub Company.
The overhauled pub has been opened with fresh decor and an expanded product range.
It will now offer its guests a wider selection of beverages, including Cruzcampo, John Smith’s and a variety of real ales.
In addition to revamped decor and an expanded product range, the upgraded pub now also features a new pool table.
Due to positive customer demand, Yates will now open its doors from 10am daily.
Yates, Romford operator Eliza Griva said: “I have been in London for 17 years now, and spent over 15 of those in bars. My journey has been so much fun and there’s nothing I enjoy more than being a part of pub teams and bringing the local community together in great spaces.
“I’ve worked my way up from bar staff to general manager. It has always been my dream to run a pub, and Craft Union made that happen! I can’t wait to welcome locals back, it’s an amazing location and a local hub of activity which is now even more welcoming.”
In March 2024, Stonegate Group re-opened the Lord Nelson pub in Doncaster, UK following a six-figure investment from Craft Union.
The pub, which has been significantly refurbished, offered its guests an enhanced experience with a new look and expanded facilities.
It was overhauled with a new colour scheme, plush carpets, additional fixed seating and a renovated bar area with an expanded drinks menu.
