Restaurant chain Wendy’s has relaunched its limited-edition Peppermint Frosty for this holiday season in the US and Canada.

The Peppermint Frosty beverage was first introduced for a limited period in 2022.

For the holiday season, Wendy’s is also introducing the new Peppermint Frosty Cream Cold Brew with chocolate, vanilla and caramel flavour options.

The Peppermint Frosty Cream Cold Brew comprises smooth, cold-brewed coffee blended with peppermint syrup and served with a Frosty creamer over ice.

The Wendy's Company culinary innovation global vice-president John Li said: "With the holidays around the corner, it's the perfect time to introduce the all-new Peppermint Frosty Cream Cold Brew together with the return of Wendy's beloved Peppermint Frosty.

"Our fans consistently crave new, innovative Frosty flavours, so we embraced the flavor of the season with not one, but two sweet treats to savor throughout the holidays."

The fast food chain is also offering its mobile app users a free small Frosty or small Frosty Cream Cold Brew.

In a statement, Wendy’s said: “That's right... this offer is an in-app gift for fans to enjoy a Frosty treat of their choice – no purchase required.”

This offer is valid until Sunday 19 November 2023.

The Wendy's Company US chief marketing officer Lindsay Radkoski said: "There is no better way to share holiday cheer with our fans than giving the gift of a free Frosty or Frosty Cream Cold Brew.

"This offer is no purchase required, so we can truly surprise and delight our fans during the holidays with a sweet treat and an even sweeter offer available in the Wendy's app."
