US-based hamburger chain Wendy’s has expanded its Made to Crave line-up with the addition of three new items for the football season.

The new additions include a Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger, Loaded Nacho Chicken Sandwich and Queso Fries.

The Wendy's Company US chief marketing officer Lindsay Radkoski said: “At Wendy's, we are dedicated to creating exceptional, craveable experiences for our passionate fans and our talented culinary team continues to deliver time and time again with our stacked Made to Crave roster.

“The new Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger pays homage to two American tailgating classics – cheeseburgers and nachos – and will have fans leaving the other guys behind and making the transfer to Wendy's this season.”

The restaurant brand noted that its Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger features its frozen square beef patty, crowned with melty cheese, roasted poblano queso, spicy corn and tortilla strips. It is then topped with spicy chipotle sauce, lettuce and tomato.

The company added that these flavours and spices are sandwiched between two jalapeño cheddar buns to give fans an ‘unforgettable culinary experience.'

The Queso Fries are topped with roasted poblano queso and shredded cheddar cheese.

Wendy’s added that for those who are “team chicken”, a loaded nacho chicken sandwich can be substituted on game day.

The Wendy's Company culinary innovation global vice-president John Li said: “We're always looking to push the envelope with our signature Hot and Crispy Fries to give our fans layers of delicious flavours combined with the crispiness you won't find anywhere else.

“Our new Queso Fries are the perfect crispy complement to our Loaded Nacho Sandwich, delivering fans a classic tailgating experience, bite after bite.”
