American hamburger chain Wendy’s is set to expand its menu by launching two pumpkin spice-flavoured drinks to its menu as autumn approaches.

Starting 12 September, the company will roll out Pumpkin Spice Frosty and Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew across its outlets in the US for a limited time period.

The Wendy's Company culinary innovation global vice-president John Li said: “We're always looking for ways to provide fans the familiar flavours they love with a Wendy's twist, and that's exactly how the new Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew came to be.

“We took the iconic pumpkin spice flavour that fans look forward to every year and blended it with our tried-and-true Frosty creamer, for a fall experience fans can't find anywhere else.”

The new Pumpkin Spice Frosty will be joining the brand’s Chocolate Frosty line-up and will offer a creamy texture with hints of pumpkin and a blend of warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.

On the other hand, the Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew features the same syrup as the Pumpkin Spice Frosty, and is merged with cold-brewed coffee with classic Frosty creamer swirled over ice.

The Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew will be available for ordering alongside Wendy's core vanilla, caramel and chocolate flavours.

The Wendy's Company US chief marketing officer Lindsay Radkoski said: “Wendy's is helping turn our fans' cravings into reality this fall by introducing our new Pumpkin Spice Frosty.

“From our summertime Strawberry Frosty to last year's holiday Peppermint Frosty, and now our fall Pumpkin Spice Frosty, we are all about meeting our Frosty fans where they are by bringing familiar, and iconic, seasonal flavours to the menu.”
