US-based hamburger restaurant chain White Castle is set to expand its footprint in Arizona with the opening of a location in Goodyear.

The upcoming Goodyear restaurant will be the third White Castle venue in the state and will create 50 new employment opportunities.

Covering 3,220ft², the new restaurant will be located at 1420 North Bullard Avenue, near the intersection of McDowell Road and just north of I-10.

White Castle has scheduled the groundbreaking for the new Goodyear location for spring 2024 with the grand opening towards the end of the year.

There will be 52 seats in the dining room, a further 14 outdoors on a covered patio, and a double drive-thru.

The Goodyear White Castle will be equipped with digital interior menu boards and an AI-assisted menu board in the drive-thru.

It will continue the tradition of offering customisable sliders and a variety of sides to its guests.

The first White Castle in Arizona opened in Scottsdale at 9310 East Via de Ventura in October 2019, followed by the second at 8735 South Jewel Street in Tempe on 28 November 2023.

White Castle vice-president Jamie Richardson said: “The response of cravers everywhere in the Valley of the Sun has been amazing through our first two openings in Arizona.
