US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Zaxby’s is set to open its first restaurant in Grovetown, Georgia, on 18 December 2023.

Located at 5002 Steiner Way, the new location will have dine-in and double drive-thru facilities.

The restaurant will be owned and operated by experienced licensees Tom Scott, Jennifer Cobb, Steven Stembridge, Scott Roberts and Ashlea Lane of SSR Augusta.

It will be the franchisee’s eighth location in the Augusta area.

SSR Augusta market operations director Jennifer Cobb stated: “We're thrilled to grow our presence in the Augusta area with the highly anticipated Grovetown Zaxby's location. Since 2019, we've been part of the Augusta community, and this marks our first expansion in the region.

“We are delighted to welcome new guests, foster a positive work environment and offer growth opportunities to our dedicated team.

“Our commitment extends beyond the restaurant as we forge partnerships with the Girls Scouts of America, local churches and welfare groups, to demonstrate our active engagement and support of the Grovetown community.”

Covering 3,000ft², the new location will feature Zaxby's classic white farmhouse-style design along with new digital menu boards.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 56 guests.

The new Zaxby’s will create 50 jobs in the Grovetown area.

Guests can place their food orders online via zaxbys.com and the new Zaxby’s app.

Delivery is available directly through the app and via third-party delivery platforms such as UberEats, DoorDash and GrubHub.

In early December 2023, Zaxby’s announced the opening of its new restaurant in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Located at 2441 Pass Road, Zaxby’s Biloxi venue is owned and operated by Pass Road Poultry.
