American fast-casual restaurant chain Zaxby's is broadening its presence in Olive Branch, Mississippi, with the launch of a second outlet on 5 August 2024.

The location at 11091 Old Goodman Road is owned by Oxford Foods' Tom Scott.

The expansion is part of the brand's strategy to strengthen its footprint in the region.

The new 2,996ft² Zaxby's establishment will seat 56 guests.

It will also feature a walk-out door for efficient order delivery and a dual drive-through.

Customers will be able to pre-order online via Zaxby's website or the brand's mobile app for kerbside collection.

Zaxby's offering includes Chicken Fingerz and wings with a variety of sauces, Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and Fried Pickles.

With the expansion in Olive Branch, Oxford Foods now operates 12 stores in Mississippi. Zaxby's total number of locations in the state is 30.

The construction of the Olive Branch restaurant has been undertaken by Dimension Construction.

It will create 55 local jobs.

Expanding in Olive Branch has been a desire of our organisation because of the wonderful community support, the availability of a great talent pool and an opportunity to serve more guests in this growing market.”

In July 2024, the restaurant chain opened a new venue in Greer, South Carolina.

Earlier in the month, it expanded its menu with the addition of new Chicken Finger Tacos.

The item comes in two flavours, Chipotle Ranch with Pico and Avocado Ranch BLT, and can be enjoyed as part of a meal or added to any order for $3.

Zaxby's operates 950 outlets across 17 US states.
