US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Zaxby’s will further expand its Midwest footprint by opening three new venues under the leadership of new franchise owner Manish Malhotra.
Known for chicken fingers, wings and signature sauces, Zaxby’s new restaurants will be opened in Vincennes, Indiana; and in Henderson and Madisonville, Kentucky.
Zaxby's development vice president Bert Lane stated: “The expansion of our franchise network is always exciting.
“It's a pleasure to bring new franchise owners into the fold, and it's particularly gratifying to see Manish and his family join us, given our longstanding friendship.
“Manish's commitment and expertise are invaluable to Zaxby's, and I eagerly anticipate his continued success and growth with our brand.”
Zaxby’s now has 930 locations.
Malhotra utilised Zaxby’s incentive programme to facilitate the opening of his new locations. The programme includes select market incentives such as discounts on the standard royalty of 6%, allowing franchisees to increase marketing activities and drive sales in their new markets.
Malhotra stated: “Franchising has been a journey of discovery. Every day brings new learning opportunities and the chance to push the boundaries of growth. I'm thrilled to be part of Zaxby's brand, which values innovation and franchisee success.”
He intends to break ground for its new locations in November 2024.
Last month, Zaxby’s announced that it will open its third location in Cleveland, Tennessee, to further expand its regional network.
Located at 425 Stuart Road NE, the new restaurant will be operated by Cleveland Foods.
Cleveland Foods opened its first Zaxby’s restaurant in Cleveland, Tennessee, in 2000. The latest restaurant will be the franchisee’s third Zaxby’s location in the area.
