Fast casual restaurant chain Zaxby’s is set to expand its US footprint further by opening its new location in Jacksonville, Florida.

Located at 3175 New Berlin Road, the new location offers drive-through and dine-in options and will be opened on 23 October 2023.

The 2,904ft² location will have a classic white farmhouse-style design and will be owned and operated by New Berlin JASZ. It will be Zaxby's 13th restaurant in the Jacksonville area.

New Berlin JASZ is owned by seasoned licensee Ron Gosselin.

The new store will create up to 46 new employment opportunities in the Jacksonville area.

With a capacity to accommodate up to 56 guests, Zaxby's new restaurant will be equipped with new digital menu boards. Additionally, the payment and pickup process will be streamlined for guests to ensure quick service.

For even faster service, customers can also order ahead through Zaxby’s website and app.

Zaxby’s also said that order delivery is available directly through its app and third-party food delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and GrubHub.

Gosselin said: “We are excited to expand within the North Florida area with our newest Zaxby’s location. We look forward to serving indescribably good chicken–especially Zaxby’s new Fried Chicken Philly–through exceptional service by our entire team.

“Our restaurant will focus on delivering an unparalleled dining experience while also partnering with local schools and churches to give back to the community.”

Earlier this month, Zaxby’s announced the opening of its first location in Columbia, Kentucky.

Located at 301 Dohoney Trace, the new restaurant is owned and operated by AJ Hospitality.
