Chicken restaurant chain Zaxby's is set to open a new location at Camby in the US state of Indiana on 30 October 2023.
Featuring both drive-thru and dine-in options, the new restaurant at 8168 Upland Way in Camby is owned and operated by G O A T Chicken, INC.
G O A T Chicken INC owner and operator Steve Clouse stated: “We are happy to introduce Camby's first Zaxby's and the second one to come to Marion County. At our Zaxby's establishment, we strive to go beyond merely serving chicken.
“We emphasise the importance of family and friends, pledging to ensure each customer is treated like family and feels valued. With strong ties to the community as a local Chamber of Commerce member, we're here to serve the Camby community with passion and pride.”
With 2,900ft² of space, the new restaurant will feature a white farmhouse-style design and a spacious dining area to accommodate 56 guests.
The restaurant will have a single drive-thru layout to boost the efficiency and speed of the payment and pickup process.
Customers can order ahead online via zaxbys.com or the new Zaxby’s app, available on Google Play and the App Store.
Delivery is possible via the app, UberEats, DoorDash and Grubhub.
This is the third Zaxby’s location for G O A T Chicken, INC in the Indianapolis area. It opened the first of these in 2014.
The latest location will provide 30 jobs in the Camby community.
This opening comes amid Zaxby’s recent launch of its Fried Chicken Philly for a limited time.
The new sandwich serves as an enhanced twist on the original Philly cheesesteak, bringing together traditional Philly flavours and elevating it to the next level with the restaurant brand’s hand-breaded or grilled chicken.
It features Zaxby’s’ signature fried or grilled chicken, savoury garlic aioli and a mix of melted American cheese, grilled peppers and onions served on a toasted hoagie roll.
With prices from $7.29, the sandwich is available at participating Zaxby's locations while supplies last.
In mid-October 2023, Zaxby’s opened a restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida. It launched its first-to-go-only restaurant concept in its home state, Georgia, on 25 September.
